Emergency Rent Assistance for Families Impacted by ICE
In Minneapolis, many Latino families are facing sudden financial crisis after loved ones were detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. When a primary breadwinner is taken, rent quickly becomes impossible to pay. Eviction and homelessness become immediate threats.
Our Emergency Rent Assistance Fund was created to respond quickly and directly to this crisis.
What This Fund Does
- Provides direct rent payments to prevent eviction
- Supports families whose income was disrupted due to detention
- Stabilizes households during legal and financial emergencies
- Helps keep children safely housed
Housing means stability. Stability means safety. And safety is what our community deserves.
